Visit the house

Casa La Engaña is located in the village Pedrosa de Valdeporres. Pedrosa is to be found in the historical Merindades region to the north of the provinca of Burgos. It is aprox. 93 kms from Burgos, 85 from the coastal cities of Santander and 90 from Bilbao. The Spanish capital Madrid is 330 km due south. There are some fine beaches on the North coast which are only an hours drive away through the breathtaking Cantabrian mountains.

The house has:

6 double rooms each with ensuite bathroom (3 have double beds and 3 two single beds)

a full meals service of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

a very spacious living room with a real fire

a well equipped library with a wide selection of books in English and Spanish.

A large garden stone walled garden, with barbecue, beautiful views and shade under the fruit trees.

    In the kitchen we combine local specialities with international recipes all of which are elaborated using, in the majority of cases, ecological products which have been produced without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilisers or chemical additives. We also give the option of vegetarian meals
